Oleg Semenovykh is a multidisciplinary artist working with painting, performance, video, AI, and digital media. In the early 2000s, he was active in electronic music — IDM, ambient, and sound art — using generative and algorithmic software environments and releasing music on various record labels. Since 2007, he has been creating visual art, employing generative computer programs based on fractal algorithms and developing digital art projects.
Since 2015, he has focused on painting and drawing. From 2017 to 2020, he was the curator and co-organizer of Moving Gallery (Chelyabinsk) — a project dedicated to exhibitions in non-art spaces such as hotels, fitness centers, and theaters. Since 2020, he has been an artist and curator with the self-organized collective 22 / 22 gallery — an online community of artists from different countries.
He lives and works in Moscow. Born in 1970, Chelyabinsk, Russia.
